Buying a Horse - Westbury Farm Equine Brokerage Service

Are you looking to buy a horse? Cut out the time consuming frustration of looking for that perfect equine partner by letting us do the leg work for you.

Here’s how it works:

You describe to us the type of horse you are looking for and we will use our contacts to connect you with the current owners who are looking for good homes to sell-on to.

We keep your information on the website for 3 months. We work on a 3 month turn around in the belief that we can find a good match for you within that time frame. We DO NOT charge commission on sales.

All it takes is your subscription to Westbury Farm Equine Brokerage Service for a 3 month term, 1 subscription per horse or search request.

Here’s what you do:
Register on the website and pay the registration fee of $50 for a 3 month term. Once your account has been approved simply login and fill out your profile form with as much detail as possible. We will use your information to look for the best possible match.

Here’s what we do:
We use our contacts and descriptions of horses for sale, provided by the seller to search for horses that match the description you provided to us and pass along the contact information to you.

We also post your description on our website for sellers to browse. They contact us and we determine if this is a good match for you, based on what you have asked us to look for and then provide the information for the two parties to make contact.

Here are the Benefits:
No long hours searching advertising magazines, websites, local tack shops and feed stores. We will e-mail you with the contact information you need to set up your appointments to view with the seller.

Your contact information is not posted on the website. If a seller wants your information to contact you, they will have to go through our service to get it. That means you are only contacted by sellers who have a compatible mount for sale. You then arrange a viewing with the seller. If you like what you see, our job is done and you have saved time and money by cutting out a lot of travel expenses for no good end result.

How much does this marketing management service cost?
For a three month web posting for each request and search we are asking a subscription fee of only $50.00

Of course we would recommend that you take all of the regular purchase precautions to ensure that the horse you are about to purchase is sound and healthy and has the temperament and athletic ability to perform the tasks you are intending to use it for. These precautions may include a vet check and a check of the horses hoof structure by a reputable farrier.

As we are not the owners of the horses advertised on the Westbury Farm Equine Brokerage Service site we take no responsibility for their health, condition or soundness. All final purchasing decisions are your responsibility. The purchase agreement and exchange of money and registration documents is made between you, the buyer and the seller of the horse, as is the transportation of the horse to its new home.
